Why Blog? Why would anyone be so self centred and bored to sit there and write a little journal entry thing every day and have the hide to expect others to read it? I first encountered a blogger when i went to my cousin Tim's house and saw he had a blogspot, and he was showing me all the angry comments from femmos and such people about his articles. I thought this was hilarious, and I became interested in starting one. Of course i hardly expect anyone to comment on my articles, as i know only one other blogger, but in time i am sure i will get some contacts. But i am still fazed by the thought, "Why would anyone want to start a blog?'". For me, it was because i just got a new imac and was pretty syked to use it in any way possible. Im also interested in reading others articles. Has anyone else got any thoughts as to why people blog? Comment me.

Main point, don't feel forced to write something, it's got to flow naturally. Something interesting might happen and you want to record it. Or something might really be annoying you. Why not tell everybody. Write it and they will come, eventually.
Don't be too ticked off about not getting comments straight away, and don't bother writing what you think people want to read. I have been very surprised which of my posts people have read the most and which they haven't paid any attention to at all.
Might be an idea to allow anonymous comments. I dislike comments without names attached, but if i didn't allow it then I wouldn't get anyone to comment. The security feature that I have acts to stop comment spam.
Most importantly, and if I didn't say this you're Dad might kill me, don't let your blogging interfere with your HSC!!!!
